Carly Berrier, LPN, Mount Nittany Health Pediatrics, is a wonderful team member. Each day she makes an incredible difference in her office, and her colleagues always praise her for being an enthusiastic, energetic worker, who is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Berrier was nominated for Employee of the Month by several of her colleagues. She exemplifies all of Mount Nittany Health’s core values of caring, excellence, integrity, respect, teamwork, and stewardship. For this honor, she is being recognized for her caring nature and epitomizing excellence.
Berrier’s nominators remarked on her contributions to our healthcare system: “Carly is such a pleasure to work with. She is a true team player who always goes above and beyond to help others. She makes such a positive impact each day in the office by always being professional, thoughtful and caring when performing her work duties. Carly cares immensely about the patients and works well with all of the providers. Regularly, she goes above and beyond to better the office with her thoughtful, beautiful, and creative bulletin boards, and she even created a book lending library in our office’s waiting area. She is always energetic with a smile on her face, and we are all so lucky to have her.”
Berrier is from Lewistown, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree. She attended Harrisburg Area Community College where she received her Associate Degree to become a registered nurse (RN). She is currently studying to take the NCLEX to finalize her credentialing as an RN.
Berrier was incredibly honored to be named the September 2023 Employee of the Month. “The kids make my job worth it. They make me laugh out loud and smile each day,” said Berrier. “Being named Employee of the Month makes me feel very loved by the people I work with. The best thing about my job is being surrounded by such wonderful people. They are the most loving and caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with.”
When Berrier isn’t busy serving the community by providing exceptional pediatric care, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. In the summer, she likes going to sprint car races, and she loves spending time with her dog Zeus. Berrier is an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Penn State fan and loves when football season rolls around. She is grateful for the love and support of her incredible family, including her dad, mom, and sister. She also has two pets: Zeus, a chocolate lab, and Oscar, a cat.
