After a long, cold winter, March is the time when we finally start to see signs of spring. Days get longer and warmer, flowers start to bloom and there’s an awakening that happens all around us.
Spring is the perfect time to reawaken your senses by switching up your health routine – try new foods and new exercises to help you develop healthy routines to celebrate the season.
- New foods: Spring is a great time try something new. Cook a recipe you’ve never made. Dine out on a new cuisine you’ve always wanted to try. Bake a low-sugar snack.
- Exercise routine: Add variety to your workouts by getting outside more. Invite friends to walk or hike with you. Explore new trails.
- Cool drinks: As the weather warms up, cool down with new twists to your regular drinks. Infuse water with fruit flavors. Add seltzer to fruit juice. Try cold versions of your favorite coffee or tea.
Whatever you do this spring, a few small changes in your health routine can keep things interesting, and keep you interested!
