Sara Tyson, PA-C

Sara Tyson, PA‑C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in allergy and immunology. Growing up in Bellefonte, Sara developed a deep connection to the Centre Region and a strong desire to serve her community.

She began her career with Centre Medical and Surgical Associates, which later integrated into Mount Nittany Physician Group. Remaining within the system was a natural transition, allowing her to continue caring for her established patients while collaborating with colleagues she respects and trusts.

In her clinical practice, Sara evaluates and treats a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including allergic and non‑allergic rhinitis, contact allergic dermatitis, drug allergies, bee venom allergies, asthma, urticarial, angioedema and immune deficiencies. As a Certified Asthma Educator, she brings additional expertise to patients managing chronic respiratory conditions.

Sara’s approach to care is rooted in compassion, active listening and a commitment to individualized treatment. She avoids a one‑size‑fits‑all model, instead focusing on patient‑centered care that addresses both medical needs and personal circumstances. Her goal is for every patient to leave their visit feeling heard, understood and confident in their next steps.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, attending her children’s activities and staying active through walking, running, hiking, biking and skiing.
