"Doctor Phillips even took the time to respond to another, completely different health issue that I had, and did so to my great satisfaction."
"I have never been to another urologist, so it would be unfair to say he is the best care provider, however he is a good care provider. He seems very knowledgeable and confident."
"VERY PLEASES with *Dr. Stephen. Treatment effective."
"I would have liked if the provider didn't seem rushed. my emotions were high due to the issue I'm having and I felt rushed. I would have felt better if he would have sat down with me eye level instead of standing up. but, he was extremely informative."
"I would recommend *Dr. Phillips to anyone. He is the best."
"Sometimes explanations were too technical. I.e., he assumed I understood the doctor lingo."
"This provider's main challenge is his attitude/approach/interpersonal skills. He comes across as hurried, disinterested, and aloof. It was clear he wanted to convey, as quickly as possible, what needed to be done and get out the door (interestingly, the office was pretty dead--so no onslaught of patients to cycle through). He never sat down to speak with me, just leaned against the countertop across from me and talked down from above, standing fairly near to the door. On the positive side, he did seem to know what he was talking about when I pushed him to answer my questions and his appearance was quite professional. Another shortcoming was his rapid-fire responses. I was able to keep up with him due to my background and educational level, but it was a challenge, since I am not a physician nor do I have expertise in urology. He is young, so if interested in doing better, he has plenty of time to do so and he does seem to be bright and knowledgeable; however, he needs to realize this considerable weakness in his approach and get a strong mentor/role model. "
"Satisfied redundant."
"He's very nice & informative."
"He didn't visit me after the surgery to give me the rundown on how everything went. this should be standard procedure for someone who goes through surgery. Also no information on what to expect and how to deal with the uretal stent that was put in. There were a few papers that were generic to all surgeries but nothing specific about the stent. This was rather uncomfortable for the first few days and there should be some info on what to expect and what is normal. I had to call the Drs office"
