"*Dr. Peterson and *Eileen Maney are among the best health care providers w/whom I have worked -"
"*Eileen Maney is an outstanding compliment to *Dr. Peterson's staff. She is well versed on all aspects of my treatments & the follow-up on surgery. The latter has corrected my vision problems & increased quality of life!"
"Could not ask for a better experience. Knowledgeable, caring, efficient, absolutely the best!"
"I was concerned about how the informed consent was worded. It basically said, because this is an elective procedure, if any harm occurs the provider is not responsible. I underlined this sentence and asked about it. Her response was that if I did not sign the consent as written the procedure (laser treat for black spots on face) would not be performed. I tried to discuss and she was rather curt. I just don't understand how someone could be held harmless even if the procedure is elective. If I have elective surgery for a hip replacement and something happens, the provider should be responsible. All providers should be accountable for their work. I think instead of saying - you don't sign you don't get procedure, I think she should have been concerned about my fears/concerns. There were a lot of possible negative risks/outcomes that I had not been told about prior to the day of the procedure though I had a consult. Negative outcomes were not discussed at the consult."
"She did seem to be in a hurry. Had some other questions I wanted to ask, but she felt or seemed hurried, so I just decided not to ask. But then had more questions after and was afraid to ask anyone else cause they seemed busy. Overall though, the provider did a good job and I was pleased. Just feel she could work on slowing down a bit when at bedside. So like the bedside manors, could be worked on. I just had surgery and wasn't quite with it all, so she rushed through things and didn't give me a chance to realize and understand what was happening. Felt if she explained just a bit more before jumping into action, that would have helped."
