PEARS Course Overview
The PEARS course is designed for EMTs, medical and surgical nurses, and any other healthcare provider who infrequently cares for critically ill infants and children. PEARS teaches students how to to recognize respiratory distress, shock and cardiac arrest and to provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider.

Course Pre-Requisites
Provider - Current AHA BLS Course Completion Card

Mount Nittany Health employee - No charge
Non Mount Nittany Health employee - $155

No registrations will be accepted less than two weeks before requested class date. No exceptions will be granted. Priority registration is given to Mount Nittany Health employees.
