Team Ream Day
State College native Brandon Ream, a former football player at The Pennsylvania State University and the son of Camp Woodward founder Gary Ream, passed away after a battle with bone cancer in 2013 at the age of 29.
To honor his memory and help support those facing similar challenges, Brandon's wife, Samantha, and their family, established a Team Ream Fund through Mount Nittany Health Foundation to assist the everyday lives of finanically disadvantaged in State College and surrounding areas who have been affected by cancer and other serious medical conditions. Having donated more than $40,000, the Reams have provided support to several patients in the cancer program at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
To support Team Ream, consider attending the Penn State Men's Basketball game on Saturday, Janury 13, as Penn State takes on Michigan at 1:30 pm at the Bryce Jordan Center.
By purchasing tickets through teamream.org, a portion of the proceeds with benefit Team Ream.
