Being diagnosed with cancer is a painful experience for patients. Feelings of anxiety, fear of recurrence, sadness, loss, anger, and painful effects from treatment are all common occurrences.

Join Dr. Plate for a discussion on how patients can cope with these painful thoughts and feelings by connecting to what they value and finding meaning and purpose in their lives as a cancer survivor. Attendees will also learn about the resources available through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the wider community.

We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.

Location:

Mount Nittany Medical Center
Dreibelbis Auditorium
1800 East Park Avenue
State College, PA 16803

We hope you can join us for this free education event!
