Knowledge of healthcare practices, professional nursing theory and practice, medical equipment and instruments. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care and common safety hazards and precautions. Knowledge of physician office procedures, medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding guidelines. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to direct patient care, prioritize work tasks and train other employees. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions of the physician. Must be able to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations. Must have the ability to identify and analyze problems, prioritize, make confident quick decisions and recommend effective solutions. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. CPR certification. Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Coordinate nursing care at the nurse’s station. Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care.
Day shift; Monday - Friday; Flexible hours to include extended hours with growth of Health System inititives
