Sports Injury Prevention

  • Prevent sports injuries by wearing proper attire and ensuring equipment fits properly.

  • Warm-up for 15 minutes to increase heart rate and stretch to prepare your muscles for activity.

  • Play and train smart: Avoid overuse injuries by beginning slowly and increasing the time and intensity of your workout gradually.

  • Limit your workout to two hours a session and drink plenty of water before, during and after it.

  • Prevent re-injury by rehabilitating completely before returning to activity, protecting the injured area with a brace or special equipment and gradually returning to activity.
