Prescription Drug Take Back Day is April 28

Flushing medications or throwing them in the trash is harmful to the environment. Properly disposing of medications is important to help reduce harm from accidental exposure or misuse. Drop off unused or expired medications for free at Burkholder’s Country Market or Weis Market in Philipsburg on Saturday, April 28, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Accepted medications:

  • Prescription and over-the-counter solid medicines
  • Liquids in a leak-proof container
  • Tablets and capsules
  • Pet medicine
