Mount Nittany Health Walk celebrates 10th year at the Grange Fair

Join us as we kickoff our 10th annual Mount Nittany Health Walk at the Grange Fair on Friday, August 16 at 9:00 am at the grandstand. The Health Walk, aimed at motivating our community to add walking into daily life, is a one-mile course that fairgoers are encouraged to walk each day during the fair. In 10 years, participants have logged 6,000 miles on the fairgrounds!

After walking our Health Walk path, fairgoers are to stop by the library at the Grange Fair any time between 10:00 am – 5:00 pm daily to get their passport brochure stamped. Walkers with at least five stamps on their passport will receive a special gift at our end celebration, held on August 23 at 1:00 pm, at Jubilee Grove.

Mount Nittany Health is also Sponsor of the Day on Friday, August 16. Stop by the Sponsor of the Day tent to meet our team from Mount Nittany Health – Penns Valley and for free health screenings and wellness information.
