Directions to Mount Nittany Medical Center in event/football traffic

Please follow this plan developed by Mount Nittany Medical Center’s security department, State College Police Department, and The Pennsylvania State University Police Department to assist the public and Medical Center staff accessing the Medical Center during football game weekends.

Click here to download the directions and corresponding map below to get to Orchard Road from State College, Bellefonte, Port Matilda, and I-99 West.

Police will not permit traffic on Orchard Road to get backed up at the Park Avenue stop sign. All traffic will be directed onto Park Avenue toward the Medical Center.

If you have a medical emergency and experience traffic problems somewhere other than Orchard Road, and you have a cell phone, call 911. Give your name, exact location, destination (Medical Center), make, model, and color of your vehicle. If possible, a police officer will be sent to escort you to the Medical Center. When you see the police officer, get out of your car and wave so that he/she can identify you. Please use this privilege in extreme emergencies only.
