Congratulations CUSP project participants

Mount Nittany Medical Center has officially reached 32 months since a patient in critical care services has developed a central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI). An estimated 250,000 CLABSIs occur in hospitals each year and as many as 62,000 patients die as a result. Our participation in the On the Cusp: Stop BSI project with the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) has resulted in making care safer for our patients. We are extremely proud of this achievement and everyone's dedication to providing the safest, highest quality of care to our patients!
