Roger Greene, Organizational Development Specialist, Mount Nittany Health, recently introduced the course “Exploring Everyday Bias for Healthcare Professionals” to Mount Nittany Health employees. Through this nonclinical course, Roger helped team members develop a deeper understanding of the impact of bias on themselves, their colleagues, and the patients they serve. As part of Mount Nittany Health’s commitment to excellence, all team members are invited to participate in this impactful class during New Hire System Orientation.

Roger’s thoughtful and engaging approach to teaching has made a lasting impression on those he comes in contact with, and they consistently praise him for exemplifying Mount Nittany Health’s core value of respect. He continuously demonstrates a deep commitment to treating others with dignity and kindness, both in their professional and personal interactions.

“Everyone has a great, unique story, and comes with their own experiences,” said Roger. “Being present and in the moment with each person you come in contact with can be so impactful. There are many different facets to respect. It is important to be mindful that the people you interact with have so much going on. Be respectful of them as a person and be respectful of their time.”
