Billing & Records

Receptionist 250x180The Medical Center accepts Visa, Discover and MasterCard payments by phone or through our website. If you have any questions, please call the Business Office at 814.234.6171 locally or toll-free at 866.686.6171, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please let us know if your address, employment, insurance and/or dependent status has changed.

You will receive, by mail, a copy of your itemized bill for hospital charges that will be sent to your insurance company. If a patient charge is shown, you are requested to pay that amount within 30 days. In addition, you may be required to pay any balance that is not covered by your insurance.

Please note that in addition to hospital charges, you may also receive bills from physicians who were involved in your care. These charges are separate from the hospital charges. Please contact the physicians directly with any questions pertaining to their bills and to arrange payment with them.

Pathology

Certain laboratory tests or examination of tissue specimens from surgery require the specialized services of the pathologist to provide information to your physician. You may receive a bill from:

Several physicians provide interpretation of cardiac and pulmonary studies, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, holter monitors and pulmonary function tests. You may receive a bill for these services from one of the following:
