Mount Nittany Health accepts Visa, Discover and MasterCard payments by phone or online. You will receive, by mail, a copy of your itemized bill for hospital charges; this document is also sent to your insurance company.

If a patient charge is shown, you are requested to pay that amount within 30 days. In addition, you may be required to pay any balance that is not covered by your insurance.

Students who require care at Mount Nittany Medical Center are advised to bring identification and a health insurance card with them when admitted. If unsure of the co-pay a visit will require, consult the documentation provided by your insurance company.

No payment will be required before receiving care in the Emergency Department at Mount Nittany Medical Center, and health insurance is not a requirement to be treated. If your visit requires a co-pay, the Business Office prefers it be paid upon discharge. Should this not be possible, the co-pay will be added to your bill.
