Directions & Parking

Patients and visitors

Patient and visitor parking is available in the designated lot outside the main entrance of Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Lance and Ellen Shaner Cancer Pavilion

Patients and visitors that need to access the Lance and Ellen Shaner Cancer Pavilion should turn left at the “Y” when driving to the hospital and follow the directional signage to the east side of the Medical Center. Patient parking is available outside the Cancer Pavilion entrance.

Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium

Visitors that are attending an event at the Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium should turn left at the “Y” when driving to the hospital and follow the directional signage to the east side of the Medical Center. Parking is available outside of the Dreibelbis Auditorium entrance.

Our volunteers provide many services to our patients and staff throughout the health system. Accreditation & Credentialing

Mount Nittany Medical Center is inspected and licensed/approved by several state and national agencies, and we have more than 220 credentialed physicians on staff.


The Medical Center has received full accreditation from the Pennsylvania Medical Society Commission on Continuing Medical Education under the authorization of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education as a provider of continuing medical education credits through June 30, 2015.

Credentialing

Additionally, we promote quality care through a stringent credentialing process for physicians who wish to admit patients and use Medical Center services. Under this process, each candidate's past employment and educational records are scrutinized. This review validates that the applicant has achieved appropriate educational degrees and certifications and verifies past employment records.

We have an outstanding board-certified medical staff of more than 220 physicians in 40 specialties and subspecialties. These individuals are members of various groups, including single-specialty and multispecialty practices.
