A free informational session on joint replacements called "A Joint Venture" is taught by Val Coakley, RN, orthopedic case manager at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Sessions cover how to prepare for surgery, what to expect before, during and after surgery, the role of providers in your recovery, equipment use and care planning.
