A state-of-the-art Endoscopic Suite enables physicians at Mount Nittany Medical Center to deliver a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures to patients. The suite is equipped with the latest video endoscopic equipment to more accurately diagnose and treat diseases of the digestive system.

Insta Trak Surgeon/NurseEndoscopy involves a flexible, lighted instrument, called a "scope" that is inserted into the digestive system. Advances in equipment and technoloy make endoscopic procedures safe, with minimal discomfort for patients, and can reduce the need for more invasive surgery.

A new procedure to evaluate gastro-esophageal reflux disease, or GERD, has begun recently with great success.
