Ultrasound Imaging
This type of imaging involves exposing a part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body. The images are captured in real-time showing structure and movement of internal organs and blood flow through blood vessels. This noninvasive imaging test helps physician diagnose and treat medical conditions with a 3-D image. Most exams are completed within 30 minutes to one hour.
