Cardiology & Cardiopulmonary Services

The Medical Center offers a full range of cardiac services from invasive cardiac catheterization procedures—which provide the most accurate information on the arteries and the function of the heart—to progressive outpatient cardiac rehab for patients recovering from cardiovascular diseases or cardiac procedures such as heart surgery and angioplasty to percutaneous coronary intervention which saves lives in the event of a heart attack.

Cardiopulmonary Services provides a broad spectrum of advanced non-invasive testing to aid in diagnosis of heart disease and assessment of heart function. Services include resting electrocardiograms (EKGs), ambulatory electrocardiography (Holter monitoring), and exercise stress testing, resting echocardiograms, exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms. A physician order is required for all testing.
