Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completed a 12 month clinical internship in an accredited school for medical technology. Continually strives to maintain good rapport and cooperation with all hospital departments, medical staff, patients, fellow employees, visitors, etc. by communicating effectively. Must be a Certified MT with ASCP, AMT, NCCLS or equivalent certification. Obtains certification within one year of hire date. Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years. May also accept Medical Laboratory Technician - Certified MLT with ASCP, AMT, NCCLS or equivalent certification or eligible to seek certification. Obtains certification within one year of hire date. Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
Primary Duties
This position is being posted internally and externally simultaneously. May also accept Medical Laboratory Technican.
