Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or its equivalent. At least two years of post-secondary healthcare education and experience in a technical patient care field. Current status for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Preferred competency in cardiac monitorinerhythm analysis and venous access skills. If does not currently hold Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, must at time of hire or transfer meet requisite eligibility requirements to sit for RCIS credentialing examination. For current eligibility requirements to sit for RCIS examination, please refer to CCI website at www.cci-online.org. If does not have active Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through Cardiovascular Credentialing International at time of hire or transfer, must obtain RCIS credential within 6 months of hire or transfer. RCIS preferred; At least 1 year of intervention experience is required.
Primary Duties
Internal and external recruitment will occur simultaneously.
Schedule
Day shift; 10 hr shifts; On call requirements; Must live within 30 minutes of hospital or have the ability to arrive within 30 minutes of Heart Alert notification.
Holiday Schedule
Rotating weekends and holidays
