Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related area. Law, business or related advanced degree, preferred. Seven years of experience in a healthcare organization including three years management experience. Three years healthcare corporate compliance experience. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and local third party carrier regulations. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., Department of Heath, The Joint Commission, and Medicare Conditions of Participation. Working knowledge of laws and issues affecting the health care industry, including consequences of non-compliance. Exhibits in-depth knowledge and understanding of the ethical principles and legal obligations related to health care operations. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Highly motivated and self-directed; works effectively under pressure. Proactively identifies issues and effectively problem solves. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates effectively with peers, staff, legal counsel and physicians. Builds and maintains strong collaborative working relationships across the system and with key federal and state regulators.
