Stress Relief – April is Stress Awareness Month

  • Breathe deeply. Inhale through your nose, count to six and exhale slowly through your mouth.

  • Laugh–watch a funny movie or read the comics.

  • Learn to say no to negativity and remove it from your environment whenever possible.

  • Be realistic about your expectations. Don’t expect harmony all the time. Be willing to communicate and compromise with others.

  • Express your thoughts and feelings. Call a friend or join a group.

  • If nothing helps, call your doctor.
