Share Fun, Not the Flu: Fighting the Spread of Illness This Season

  • Wash your hands often.
  • Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose or mouth during flu season.
  • Children, older adults and those who work with them should get a flu shot.
  • The flu virus can survive from 2-8 hours on hard surfaces such as doorknobs. If you’re sick, sanitize anything you touch.
  • If you get sick, stay home from work or school to prevent passing it on.
