“Shine a light in honor of someone you love,” say the organizers of the Pink Out Pep Rally to be held on February 21 at the Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium, Entrance D, Mount Nittany Medical Center. Doors open at 11:30 am and the pep rally starts at noon. Pink lights can be purchased for $5.

“This is a great event for the public to attend. We invite everyone to meet the Lady Lion Basketball coaching staff, celebrate our fundraising success and have a chance to buy your Pink Zone tickets and t-shirts,” said Aileen Galley, ACSW, LSW, administrative director, cancer program at Mount Nittany Medical Center. "We hope to inspire the team and those affected by breast cancer by filling our auditorium with pink light."

The Pink Zone basketball game, Lady Lions vs. Michigan State, is Sunday, February 24, at 1:00 pm, at the Bryce Jordan Center. Artisan crafted pink paw earrings and necklaces will be on sale at the pep rally, along with a variety of other pink-themed items available for purchase.

The Foundation’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament raised $150,000 for the new Cancer Center.
