Mount Nittany Health announces Implementation Plan for Community Health Needs Assessment

Mount Nittany Health is proud to announce publication of its Community Health Needs Assessment Implementation Plan. The plan follows a comprehensive project to identify and address the community’s most pertinent health needs. Key components of the projected included:

  • A Health Needs Survey, which was completed by more than 1,000 community members
  • A Health Needs Summit, facilitated by the Centre County Partnership for Community Health and held February 25, 2012 at Mount Nittany Medical Center’s Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium
  • A post-summit luncheon series, facilitated by the Centre County Partnership for Community Health (each lunch focused on a major community health need presented at the summit)
  • Finalization and publication of the full Community Health Needs Assessment report
  • A Second Health Needs Summit, once again facilitated by the Centre County Partnership for Community Health, held November 18, 2013 at Mount Nittany Medical Center’s Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium

The implementation plan outlines six key priority areas identified through the project, the goals for each priority area and and the strategies by which these goals will be addressed. To read the report, visit mountnittany.org/healthneeds.
