April has been designated Alcohol Awareness Month to help remind people to drink safely. Follow these tips to ensure you are consuming alcohol responsibly:
- Never drink alcohol and drive, and do not get into a car with a driver who has been consuming alcohol
- Monitor your alcohol consumption, and make sure you do not have more than one glass of alcohol per hour
- Have a glass of water after every alcoholic drink to prevent dehydration and lessen the effects of intoxication
- Eat food throughout events where you're also drinking alcohol
