Ensure Your Home is Safe for Children

Here are some easy tips to make sure your home is safe for children.

  • Get into the habit of using back burners on the stove when possible, and be sure to turn pot and pan handles in away from the stove's edge
  • Turn your hot water heater down to no more than 120 degrees
  • Keep your child's furniture away from any windows
  • Use safety gates at the top and bottom of staircases
  • Cover all electrical outlets
