Beating Winter Blues



  • Find a winter hobby or new interest. Staying social and active will make the chillier months more enjoyable.


  • Fight the cold, flu and other winter illnesses with a healthy diet, plenty of sleep and a daily supply of vitamins.


  • Focus on positive words and thoughts, and make a conscious effort to feel as good in winter as in the summer.


  • Make the most of the weather by adapting your exercise routines to the weather conditions. Take a walk. Go skiing or snowboarding.


  • Dress in layers rather than in bulky clothing that could weigh you down.
