Official Affiliation

The senior year of Penn State’s Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. Will consider post-baccalaureate from other universities if the required prerequisites are met.

Pre-requisites

Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Calculus, and Physics. Statistics, medical ethics and medical terminology are not required, but are encouraged.

Admissions requirementsA laboratory technician performs tests.

GPA of 2.5 or higher, pre-admission physical examination and immunizations, BLS certification, proof of health insurance, three letters of reference and a personal interview.
