Education

Continuing medical education is a cornerstone of the clinical process, and investing in the next generation of providers is equally important. At Mount Nittany Medical Center, we're committed to both.

Mount Nittany Medical Center is an approved provider of physician and nursing continuing education, with accreditation by the Pennsylvania Medical Society and by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association. In addition, the Mount Nittany Medical Center School of Clinical Laboratory Science prepares students with lectures and hands-on learning in our clinical laboratory.

Plus, we're working closely with The Pennsylvania State University to develop a regional medical campus at Mount Nittany Health. Currently, community physicians from both Mount Nittany Physician Group and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center are site directors for the clerkships and fellowships provided to medical students. The program is expected to double in the coming year.

Mount Nittany Health also offers several community education programs throughout the year in its Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium. Find out about our upcoming events.
