Annie’s compassion and commitment to patient well-being have earned her praise from colleagues, supervisors, and patients. She consistently goes above and beyond in her duties, taking the time to listen to patients' concerns, and providing comfort and support when needed. One example of Annie’s caring demeanor was in evidence when a terminally ill patient was scheduled for a follow-up appointment with the Mount Nittany Physician Group in Philipsburg. The individual was weak and cold upon entering the facility, and required assistance laying down on a special lowered exam table. The experience could have been unsettling, but Annie went above and beyond to keep the patient warm by providing one of her own personal blankets. The patient’s family was grateful for Annie’s kindness, generosity, care, and compassion.
